Loading custom stages in BlitzSonic is pretty easy however it differs from game to other, All you need is to follow the Next instructions , Some stages may need to be converted to work on the desired game :

First time loading Trick (all) Edit

This trick can be done in Most of engines that use "Stages.XML" , If none of the Tricks below worked for you try this one :

  1. Open your stages folder and check the name of a Working stage
  2. Move that stage to another folder (Not a Subfolder inside your game's folder)
  3. Give your new stage folder the name of the Previous one
  4. Put it in place of the Previous stage (Stages folder)
  5. Run the game and Choose that stage if the game asks

BlitzSonic Edit

Old engines like Blitz Sonic Burst require this trick to Run custom stages on them, Or you can simply try the First time loading Trick .

  1. Copy your stage folder to "Stages" Folder (The entire folder)
  2. Open "Stages.xml" using Notepad
  3. Change the stage name to your New Stage folder name
  4. Save and exit
  • If you get any errors While loading the stages, Convert it and retry .

BlitzSonic Ultra Edit

  1. Copy your stage folder to "Stages" Folder (The entire folder)
  2. Open the game
  3. Write your Stage folder's name
  4. Press Enter

Sonic BGE Anniversary Edit

  1. Copy your stage folder to "Stages" Folder (The entire folder)
  2. Open "Stages.xml" using Notepad
  3. Change one of "test stage" names to your Stage's folder name
  4. Save and exit
  5. Run the game and Select your stage

Sonic World R6 Edit

  1. Copy your stage folder to "Stages" Folder (The entire folder)
  2. Open "Stages.xml" using Notepad
  3. Add this line above </stagelist> : <stage name="Test Stage"/>
  4. Replace Test Stage with your Stage's folder name
  5. Save and exit
  6. Run the game and Select your stage
  • If you're trying to load a stage for an earlier version of the game like Sonic World R4 do it this way .

Sonic Zone Edit

  1. Rename your stage's folder to "TEST_STAGExx" (xx Must be a number between 1 and 14)
  2. Put it inside "RESOURCES\STAGES" folder
  3. Run the game and Press Select then Choose that Stage's number (Depends on what Number you gave it)

Sonic Universe Edit

Sonic Universe has no empty Stage slots, so you'll need to replace one of the Existing stages to play your own Stage :

  1. Copy the name of the stage which you're going to Replace from the Stages folder .
  2. Backup the stage that you're going to Replace.
  3. Now place your new Stage inside "Stages" folder .
  4. Give that stage the same name of the Old one (from step 1) .
  5. Run the game and Select the stage you just Replaced .
